Olá, I'm Inês Veiga, social designer, design educator and researcher based in Lisbon, Portugal. 

Since 2014, I’ve redirected my practice to develop socially and politically engaged design processes with local organisations and communities. 

This archive gathers a selection of those experiences which embody the indiscipline of doing alter-graphic-designings with the world. 



Designer, researcher and educator who explores the roles and importance of socially and politically engaged communication design by working closely with local organisations and communities. Co-founder of the Locals Approach Association. Member of the REDES - Research and Education in Design research group, part of the DESIS LAB laboratory network. Currently teaches and lectures at the Lisbon School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and at the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of Lusíada University in Lisbon. PhD in Design from the Lisbon School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (2020). Degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2008).
